Join the Cumberland Valley Appalachian Trail Club for one of their monthly Saturday work trips. Help the club with Appalachian Trail maintenance and spend a rewarding day alongside devoted A.T. volunteers to make a difference.
The work on the A.T. includes cleaning out waterbars, clearing fallen trees, and cutting back brush encroaching on the footpath. Tools, supplies, and training will be provided. The work-trip starts at 9 a.m on June 16 at the Scott Farm Appalachian Trail Work Center and will conclude around noon.
Participants should wear sturdy shoes, long pants, and work gloves. Participants should bring water, a rain jacket, and sun protection.
